     At mile marker 1.0 (From start of tour) you will see the parking area for the John Oliver Place Cabin on your LEFT.  Starting at the trail head at the parking area, the trail  leads from the parking area to the cabin, (.25 Miles), along the way you will go through a level forested area, at approximately the halfway point, we saw some deer just to our right.  When near the end of the trail, you will see the John Oliver Cabin past the split rail fence.  

     Walking upon the front porch (where you can look around for ACTUAL VIEWS), upon entering into the cabins main living area, (typically where parents, daughters and infants usually slept) to your left is a natural rock wood-burning fireplace, to it's right is a small closet area (under the stairs), then a door that leads to the upstairs attic area, where the sons typically slept.
